Would have given better, bit the bathroom water fountains did not work an any facility we visited.
This seems to be a nice place to swim.. my siblings really enjoy it, the water is clean, and there is a shallow area for them. I'd say I wish there was more shade or other amenities but this is a good place to go in Georgetown so that must be taken into account.
This is a great family swim spot. It's not over crowded and people are friendly. $ it's affordable. Clean.
Very rocky ground so have to look carefully for tent location. Campsites are nice with a covered table, grill, and a fire ring. Water access isn't very close to the campsites but has a nice beach area.
Our Boy Scout troop stays at the group camp area that has a pavilion. It's a great place to camp with flat sites, drinking water, and enclosed primitive restroom. The site overlooks Lake Georgetown and is also quiet. The Army Corp of Engineering runs the park and is very easy to work with. They provided a service project so that we could give something back. Did I mention how nice the lit pavilion is? Very good camping for a reasonable fee.
