Love this place! Fishing is ok but people and views are amazing! Great lake for kayaks also! Be careful with children and always use life jackets. There are some banks that drop off into 55 ft. Water very quickly.
Beautiful park and lots of wild life but the facilities for those staying in the park are disgusting. After 3 days I went to buy cleaner to clean the bathrooms myself.
If looks like feces has been on the only working bathroom for 4 days. Mildew in the showers, hair and nastiness on the walls, poop on the toilets, not soap or even a soap dispenser in the bathroom. Ashamed because it's a beautiful place
Always a relaxing time. Great sites. Clean showers and rest rooms. 117 is the best spot here.
We camped here for 4 nights in June. The park is clean and well maintained. It's a good place to camp with a boat because the ramp and the lake are not very crowded. Most of the campsites don't have super easy access to the lake though. Just a warning...if you book a double site, it is more like a site and half. It would be perfect for a camper and a boat, but it's very tight to try to fit two campers.
It feels safe, the view is amazing. Very family friendly. I've been here 2 years in a row. Both visits have been awesome!!!!
This is one of the nicest parks I've been to,
