Nice Corp of Engineers park at Georgetown, Texas. Many spaces run downhill making it difficult to level with wheels on the ground in a motorhome. There are a few though. #24 works well! Great access to north side of Austin.
The camping spots are nicely spaced. Dog friendly. Tent friendly. RV friendly. The bathrooms were nice with running water - bring your own soap. You are close enough to civilization that you can easy get something you forgot to make your way back home if you get rained out.
From the reservation process online to driving away happy and refreshed... great place. Fire pits and stand up grills, covered picnic tables, trees, clean bathrooms with hot showers.
Great place to camp with an rv. Not so much if you have kids, no playground or other kid stuff. Very quiet at night. Most sites are shady, about 10 have a great view of the lake, but all sites are on a bluff well above the lake with no direct access to the water. There is a day use area with covered tables, with access to the water, but there is not a designated "swim beach". We've stayed here twice now, once in site 35 and once in 31. Enjoyed both visits.
Peaceful park to camp. Boat ramp is on the far side from the camping spots. Easy access to hiking tail. No primitive camping at this site - just RV/tent sites with water and electricity.
