Great outdoor park with some extensive walking trails. We visit here mainly for taking pictures of birds and this is a real haven for them. They have a nice play area for the kids and some great camping spots for those looking to spend the night or just hangout with friends.

This place is SO beautiful with tons of large old trees, vast open areas (for wedding ceremonies, for instance ;D ), at least 1 good sized play area for smaller kids, and a covered pavilion if need be. The atmosphere even when we first drove into the park was not what we expected! We were pleasantly surprised & my friends had their wedding here.. So it was very nice indeed. SUPER affordable for an all-day rental from what i heard too! There's also primitive & rv camping spots!

It's a beautiful park located on the outer edge of Georgetown TX. Its the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has something for every member of the family. You can walk the miles of trails (paved and dirt), kids can play at the playscape, fish( catch and release pond), feed/ pet the donkeys, and lots of open space to accommodate other out door activities. There are grills located around the park. There are public restrooms avaible. For those wishing to enjoy an extended stay have two choices. You can rough it at the primitive sites that you have to hike to or there are camper /RV spaces available for the less adventurous. I forgot to mention that the front half of the park used to be a pecan orchard. If you time it right you can collect pecans in time for those holiday desserts.

Beautiful, spacious, tranquil park with plenty of shade ro escape the sun if you want. Paved or hard packed wide trails for walking or biking. Playground for the kids, ponds for catch and release fishing, nature viewing areas even a few primative camping sites. Extremely well maintained.

Shaded park area with pond. Lots of great space. We enjoy being out in the open spaces.
