I really don't know how Scott's does it, but they always have a good variety of fresh seafood at affordable prices that has been expertly prepared. Inside the store feels a little confused as the bar doesn't look like it belongs in the small room with the other table setups. There's an outside eating area too but I've never seen it being used. Try the fried oysters or the poor boys they are excellent.
First time here. All i can say is, it's such a great place!!! Great service and great food!
Have been 4 or 5 times! Super delicious raw Gulf oysters (with other varieties available). A small casual atmosphere with an outdoor patio. Excellent fried catfish-plump and very flavorful. Fantastic fried shrimp and really great fresh-made mayo-based coleslaw. And according to my husband, "A better beer selection is the only thing lacking."
Service and food was great. Oysters are fresh and tasty, but more expensive than the Gulf oysters you get at the other bars in town. The star was removed for two things. One, no limes for my beer and two, extra sauces are not complimentary.
