Awesome hamburgers. They also have great daily specials like Chicken and Dumplings. These were as good, if not better, than my grandmother used to make. Everything homemade and delicious.
Wait staff is great too.
It does look small from the outside when you first see it but has lots of room on the inside and a large patio area if you want to set outside.
Southern small town manners, yes Sir, yes Mam, Please & Thank You. Great comfort food. Dale is truly happy to see each and every guest. That's how you're treated, like a valued guest in his home. The co-owner runs the business like a well oiled machine. All employees are pleasant, courteous and happy to serve you. Entertainment is good but the company you're in is even better. It's a must do if your anywhere near Walburg, Texas and if you're not, you should be.
The staff are excellent and makes everybody feel welcome.
We go here at least once a month, sometimes more often. The burgers are my favorite choice, but their bbq ribs are also great. This is a family friendly place. It can be quite busy on the weekends, especially when the weather is good and they have a band playing outside.
Look on the wall for the Daily Special and there ribs are the best around.
Best friend catfish in the area. Ask waitress what is fresh and good. They will let you know if the kitchen just received a fresh batch of squash from a local farmer.... Or if the steaks are the best... ever!
Small town atmosphere and the food is great with good home style cooking.
