The baked potatoes needs to be baked longer. They were not soft enough. The sever was very nice and attended us nicely.
Whoa... Typically a good place. Price is decent for most plate except for the chopped steak. That piece of meat is maybe 5 or 6 oz. Too small for dinner... Meat wasn't cooked to my liking.

Came through Georgetown on road trip; cafe was highly recommended and my friend's recommendation and the cooks and waitstaff that evening didn't disappoint either.
This is as good as East Texas country cooking gets without actually being there...chicken fried steak was moist and tender with plenty of gravy; the fried okra was crispy outside and tasted like it should; the garlic potatoes were mashed not whipped and came with gravy without having to ask for it. Thank you for that alone.
Great experience. Service was warm, friendly and timely. The server (William) was very polite and professional and the food was delicious. Exactly the way a dinner out with the wife and kids SHOULD go.
