1. Shut down 1.75 course before closing so the employee was not enthused about helping us get a tree.
2. Picked out our tree and when he grabbed it one leaning on it fell back towards me. It's okay guys, I caught it and moved it to a different spot while he carried our tree away. Thinking about it, why didn't he set the one in his hands down and take the tree from me and place it back on the row?
5. "Go pay for the tree inside, just tell them which one you have". This folks, took 20 minutes because he failed to mention that there is a nice barcode on the tree tag that should be torn off for customers to go inside with.
Veterans ask for your discount!!! Georgetown-friendly, associates are extremely knowledgeable, and seem to always be available when the customer needs assistance. When there are multiple customers they acknowledge everyone and assist in order. I have been a customer since the store opened and never had a problem with anything to include returns.
Just wanted to say I have always enjoyed shopping at HD. This visit was especially good, John cut our shelves perfectly! And was very helpful with his knowledge!
Anyways. Just be cautious when you get a tree from here.
4. We have to help him tie it on our car and while we do so, we discover that the employee trimmed the branches off AND 15" of the TRUNK. So, now when we get home we have to trim MORE off in order to fit it into the tree stand and in doing so ruin the lush bottom.
Aisles were cluttered with items to stock and packaging trash. Items that fell off of shelves was left on the floor. This made it difficult to shop or navigate a cart. Stockers were oblivious to customers and made no effort to help, there were numerous safety issues. However, floor staff who were assigned customer service were friendly, quick to respond and knowledgeable.... especially in keys and lighting.
Good experience in the store, however, awful getting a tree from here.
This store is clean, fully stocked, and organized. Some store employees lack knowledge of certain products but that is not why I give it 4 stars. I would've given 5 stars however, a few employees lack customer service. I went in to get a hibiscus for my wife and the gentlemen that worked garden department had no idea where that particular plant was located. I found what I wanted without assistance. I will continue to shop this store location.
3. Told him to trim about 15" of branches off... He did more than just that.
