The three times out of six attempts we actually managed to get my mom's hair done, it was OK. The problem seems to be there are few stylists, today there were 2, we were told they are booked and come back tomorrow. This is the second time this walk-in salon can't handle customers. The place is roomy, neat, and clean. Almost no one there. We just want a wash and blow out. Simple. Can't get it done.
Went in for a haircut today since I hadn't had one in about 9 months. (I have a 4 month old) and a 5 yr old which makes it hard to go get a haircut at the drop of a dime. I happened to have an extra few min in between some things today so I stopped in here since they didn't look busy. Lucy, greeted me got my information which took her forever it seemed. She then took me to go cut my hair, sat my (sleeping) baby in the chair next to me. Then turned on her hair dryer full speed to blow the hair off the chair. Startled my baby and woke her up. She then dropped her scissors on the ground and stared at them for a good few min and proceeded to use them on me. I went to beauty school, I know how much that is a BIG no no in the sanitation rules. I told her I wanted a bunch of layers on top to add some volume because my hair tends to fall flat most of the time, and then I wanted a trim all over. I wanted to keep my length. She said ok. She cut 3-4 in off my hair all over! I can barely put it up in a pony tail. Which I like to keep my hair up all the time since my baby likes to pull hair if I don't. My hair does not grow like most people. It has taken me 6 yrs to get my hair to grow just below my shoulders from a bad haircut 6 yrs ago where someone did the same thing and cut my hair to my ears. My hair is now sitting at my shoulders. I even called to talk to the manager and tell her and she had the nerve to ask me "what do you want me to do about it?" It'll grow back! I wish there was someone who would do something. That was incredibly rude of her. I understand she can't do anything since it's already cut off. But you could at least offer to maybe fix it to cut my hair into a different style so I'm not looking like I have a damn mullet. That is exactly what my hair looks like! A mullet.
Had a horrible experience, the woman that cut my hair didn't seem to know what she was doing. I asked for my hair to be cut a little above the shoulders, ended up with my hair cut just below the ears. She cut it very blunt and uneven...She said my hair was to thick for her to work with and at one point she was being so rough she ripped my earing out of my ear. I will never go back
