Looking to decorate the walls in the living room (cathedral ceilings) of my new house with something very unique and to reflect my passion in for ancient history, I had the idea to have reproduced an eight by four foot segment of the famous 15,000 year old Lascaux (France) cave painting. It was a good idea - only made far better by my selection of an artist! Sue Hains did an incredible job. It is an awesome piece of work that has become the centerpiece of my home. Accurately reproduced down to the smallest detail, the colors are perfect, and the effect stunning. A touch of class in an otherwise ordinary man-cave, I'm amazed others haven't had the same idea. Sue Hains is the modern day caveman's best friend and artist of choice!!
I asked Sue Hains to paint a "southwest" mural on a wall in the living area of my house. It is breath taking. The design, choice of colors, and shadowing brings the wall to life. She worked hard and never missed a detail. Guests have been amazed and its been fun discussing with them Sue's work. If I should ever move, I'll have to figure a way to pack the wall.
