The manager of this business does not have a professional understanding of how to treat customers.
New showings are always expensive, but really worth it here! Never a dump and never over-crowded since its tucked away from I-35 from the non-locals. Great place to enjoy a movie without too many people screaming or talking through it.
All other theaters sold out the night we were going to the movies. We called City Lights and they said they only had sold 2 tickets to the Mummy. We get there are hardly anyone is there. I don't understand why. The place was super clean and has comfy seats. The popcorn was fresh and the girls behind the counter were super nice. I haven't been to this theater in I bet 3 years due to proximity to where I live. It is about 25 minutes from my house. I will make the drive more often now. We need to all support this family owned theater. (Not a chain). I would rather see them have crowds of course but it is a nice experience so try skipping the others and give this one a try.
I had high expectations, but now I'm just very disappointed. Will not go to this theater again.
They made a mistake in charging extra 9 dollars, and when I called in to get a refund, the manager was rude and unapologetic. Even when I asked for apologies since their mistake has been a great inconvenience. She also demanded me to drive a full hour to come to their office to get the refund. She would not consider any alternatives to solve this problem, and would not consider customers' convenience.
Ticket prices are better than most and the theater is clean. City Lights also has a good burger that they will bring to you, in the theater.
Excellent home town theater. Good food (hamburgers on Hawaiian buns especially good and good service. Comfortable seats, plenty of parking, and easy to get in and out.
