This kind of shoddy customer service is what makes my blood boil in trying to deal with contractors. Of course, I've marked this company off my list and will let others know of my experience with Cindy at Keystone. If it goes this badly before you even get an estimate, I've learned that it's best to avoid the company, as it screams they apparently don't value the customer before the job, so chances are they won't during or after the job either.
The residential sales rep. (Cindy Holder) simply refuses to return a phone call. I've left voicemails for her in trying to get an estimate for concrete work at my home and never has she called me back. I finally did reach her ONCE (by my own effort) and she said that Duane would be calling me to set up a time to give me an estimate. He never called either!
This may be a good company and may do quality work (who knows??), but the owner(s) need to question whether their sales team is doing a good job at attracting new revenue, or responding in a courteous or timely manner to potential clients. Failing to return repeated phone messages for an estimate, is not only rude, but is also costing their company potential sales revenue. If you don't want the work, fine - at least have the professionalism to say so, rather then keeping someone waiting for a response that never comes. However, if you never find out what the job entails (i.e., won't even give an estimate in the first place), how can you make that judgement?
This experience with Keystone was an utter FAIL before it even got off the ground. Someone will definitely get my business and positive word of mouth recommendation for this job. But it will NOT be Keystone.
