Karen was awesome! Gave us the back story on All Things Kids, interesting and touching story. The ice cream shop in the back was a big hit. We'll go back again!
To top it off, there's even an amazing hidden ice cream shop in the back half of the store. Try the Black Forest, Amaretto cheesecake, whiskey honey cream, and more... so so good! And fresh made waffle cone wafting to the front of the store is near irresistible.
Wow!! You can smell the waffle cones from the street!! Delighted to find out they added an ice cream counter in the back!! With CRAZY GOOD WEIRD flavors!! I sampled the "red wine, & blue" with blue cheese! And the lavender. But was happy with my final decision of rum raisin and a scoop of Amaretto cheesecake!! Can't wait to go back and try more crazy flavors!!

We are trying to limit our kids' toys to ones that are multi-use, loveable, and will last. So we bought a beautiful German-made, beechwood Fagus toy truck for our 2 year old son. He couldn't get enough of it when we went in.
I love the store, and the owners are so lovely, but my 2 star experience was when we decided to do our birthday here in July. The girl who was in charge handed out a craft, and some ice cream and then shrugged when I asked what was planned for the last hour of time. There was zero direction, zero interaction. The party costs quite a bit, so I felt that was not enough to justify what I spent. I would have been happy to spend my money on a place where the kids actually have something planned vs just a few scoops of ice cream and a place to sit and put together a tiny craft. I was very disappointed, I expected a lot more.
A must stop shop for parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles and kids alike. :)

Great home-made ice cream and friendly service. The toy store side is amazing with natural educational toys and much more.
(For the consumer savvy folks out there - We compared pricing to online and many of the German toys are a little cheaper here than everywhere else online, so YES go ahead and buy them here.)
