I was in as a new painit on Tuesday January 13,2015. I don't know if in the past the other gyn did an exam. Dr. Schrier was very calm positive funny. Smiling at all times told you word from word how she can work with you to get you through the exam. She's the best GYN she helped me with my issues diagnosed me gave me a scond opion she took her time to work with you. She understood my issues through emails and when I came in person she understood it more. I would continue to go back to Dr. Schrier because she told me I don't have to be afraid of the exam or being afarid of anything. She made my fears go away. I have had three appointments with Dr Schirer already getting a fourth one She's really amazing! I couldn't ever get through a paps before in my life from age 21 to 29 estament. Now at 29 and this apt today I got through the full paps. God has really blessed me with an Amazing Dr I'm honored to be her patinent and to have her in Georgetown up by my partners work. She's a wonderful Dr! Thank you Dr Janna Schirer for everything you do for me!
Had been going to Dr. Schrier for years and loved her and her staff. I referred my daughter to her to start on birth control. Dr. Schrier and my daughter decided that an IUD would be the best route to take. There were some problems getting the IUD when her receptionist Hanna told me that her time was just too precious to waste on us any more. I was thrown back. I didn't know what to do. I can't request the IUD, only a doctor can do that and they just refused to help us any longer and didn't offer any alternatives. I guess as long as everything is going smoothly they are friendly. Now we have to find a new OBGYN.
I went in to my appointment for an ovarian cyst, dr insisted I didn’t have a cyst and instead did a full comprehisnisve std test without my consent. A week later I went to the er and was informed I did in fact have a large cyst, I also received a large bill from a 3rd party company which the dr did not warn me about. Dr schrier ignored all of my concerns and told me they were just period pains.
At this office, you are treated as a person instead of a patient. It is a clean, professional, comfortable place. The staff is genuinely friendly. I was nervous about my appointment but the interactions set me at ease. Jana is happy to meet you, non judgmental and willing to explain things to you. She takes her time and is gentle on your lady parts!
Dr. Schrier was very personable, took her time to explain things to me and ask me questions. She also asked me if I had any questions. I felt that my exam was very thorough.
