I feel grateful to live close enough to eat here often. Best breakfast ever. Wait staff is usually spot on. Great coffee. I've eaten here many times and every time has been worth it. After your meal, walk around the block and take a look at their garden. Yes! They grow food! Lol. And native plants.

Recently went here for the first time and overall I was very happy with the food quality and the overall experience. It is very popular with the locals. Service was very very very very slow. And the coffee is served in tiny teacups. I had the avocado toast breakfast special which is a large slice of sourdough toast with avocado spread on top of that with a fairly thick slice of raw tomato that was really supposed to be grilled, and topped with 2x. I ordered mine over medium. I also ordered an extra egg over medium and it was served over the side. The yolk was hard so it was overcooked. I ordered a side of bacon and it was very good. I purchased a cinnamon roll for $5 before leaving. I got that to go for a friend of mine that wanted me to pick one up for him. He said that he wouldn't pay $2 for it but it was very dry and even popped in there microwave for a little bit and that didn't help. He only took about two bites and threw the rest away. I'm going back tomorrow so I will see how everything goes and will update my review based on that experience.

Usually very good. This time the waitress was like way too busy I guess. She put gravy on my chicken but did give us a complimentary tomato bisque soup which was very delicious. My friend ordered vegetable plate and about two or three times she said they were out of certain vegetables. It was late in the day though they close at 3. Then finally bill came and it was like $10 more than it should be because she charged me for two orders of chicken. As much as I love the honey coated fried chicken we will be taking a break.

Very yummy home cooked style food. I just had the chicken fried steak and unlike most places it wasn't greasy. The mashed potatoes were likely how mom makes them! Delicious!

This place is top notch. Local fare and it's highly desired in the area. It is on the pricey side for a cafe but you won't regret it.
