I also hate it when I do buy something and they ask if I want to round off my total so instead of paying way too much for something they got for free, now they want me to pay more???
They say they are "putting people to work" what is the use of putting someone to work and keeping them in total poverty? Put a few less people to work and take care of the people you do have.
Goodwill sells many items that were donated to them used. They mark them for what done items cost when new. Goodwill used to be economical. Not anymore.
Not the greatest selection of items, but it is just Georgetown. So, I think it's good. My kids enjoy finding interesting things there.
The people are great there but good will never pays their help well enough to where they don't have to supplement their income in another way. (Welfare)
Really really nicely organized and well stocked Goodwill. One of the best around.
When I first moved here this place was reasonably priced but now the prices have gone through the roof. I have found numerous nick back items where they are charging more for that item than what it sold for new.
Very nice place to get things to add to your life. Especially if you're staying over.
